Promoting Safety through Public Understanding and Professionalism
The Northwest Georgia Inspectors Association strives to increase the consistency and quality of training in order to create a better public understanding and appreciation of the importance of health, safety, welfare and prosperity to municipalities and other governments.
Training and Networking
NWGIA offers instructional courses to promote consistent interpretations, enforcement, and administration of the building and related codes. The organization also provides opportunities to meet with other governmental officials to exchange ideas and discuss mutual code problems and issues.
Professionalism and Accountability
To increase professionalism and accountability within the construction industry, NWGIA promotes high standards of efficiency and uniform interpretation of the building and related codes.
