Promoting Safety through Public Understanding and Professionalism

The Northwest Georgia Inspectors Association believes that by increasing the consistency and quality of training, we create a better public understanding and appreciation of the importance of health, safety, welfare and prosperity to municipalities and other governments. 

Training and Networking

We strive to provide courses of instruction to promote consistent interpretations, enforcement, and administration of the building and related codes.  We provide opportunities to meet with other governmental officials to exchange ideas and discuss mutual code problems and issues. 

Professionalism and Accountability

We believe that to increase professionalism and accountability within the construction industry we must promote high standards of efficiency and uniform interpretation of the building and related codes.
